I'm Still Here

Gosh, it's been forever since I've written a blog post for this blog. I've been busy on my gardening blog though so I don't feel like a complete failure.

My sister and I have been poring over my deceased mother's journals. Although she wasn't a prolific writer, her snippets of history come alive thanks to her superb writing. I might share some of them here.

Spring is right around the corner, at least for those of us living on the west coast. I am sorry for what you east coasters must endure. We're beginning to see bits of life--an occasional flower, birdsong, frogs croaking. It's nice.
One of my plants waking up to spring.

Thank you to all of you who read and reply to my blogs. I'm much more grateful than I show. I will return the favor by visiting all of you.

Cheerio,

It is we who are grateful to you! Yes, please do come back soon with your wry and well-grounded observations of life. And I personally would love to see what the mother wrote!

Oh wow, I don't remember you mentioning journals. How interesting it must be to read them.

Still love reading both your blogs. Interesting that your mom kept journals. I have, until lately. I hope one day my children will read them, and care.
