I came to visit from High Altitude Gardening and I never want to leave. I too am a Master Gardener but here in Utah with a little yard and no sun. Your garden makes me green with envy. In the space I do have to garden it is pink that calls my name and the reason I want to linger here. The colors and textures are a beautiful combination in a lovely design. Congratulations on a lovely garden and blog.

Grace girl .. damn funny ! good thing I didn't snort my coffee in the wrong direction (would be cleaning lap top by now !) ..
I love that picture of the pointsettia ! .. do your cats try to get at it at all ? .. I haven't had one in the house for years because of that fear .. damn ! The fake ones look pretty darn good though (put that on my list for next year !!)

What are they doing to those poinsettias these days? I got one you would maybe like, it's PINK! :) A big one, too. Might clash with your shirt, though. That polka-dotty one's a stunner!

I enjoyed reading this, but don't have the patience or attention span to participate. When I saw your favorite girl's name, I didn't read it right at first, and thought Freida was your first name. I got all excited, because my grandmothers' names were Freida and Grace. I wanted to name our almost 28 year old daughter Freida Grace, but no one else in my family, especially my husband liked the idea.

Oh, Freida B Me was pretty clever.

I love the colors of the poinsettia.
