I am all about the drive by myself, so bring it on. I don't imagine anyone took real offense. Lovely shots, so much amazing color this time of year. My folks have a liquidambar but it's kind of smallish, maybe because it's planted under a Doug Fir. Its leaves all turn color at different times, so the uniformity of the leaves in your photo make me wonder if you saw maples. But, as you said, hard to tell from a distance sometimes! You can find pink anywhere, can't you?! :)

Love all the pinks. I really like the euphorbia, does it spread as bad as some do? If not I'd love to put that on my want list.
I see 'Preziosa' is looking as great there as it is here. Definitely one of my favorites.
The gap problem, I think if you go to edit post and then scroll all the way to the bottom of the post (beyond your last bit of writing) and then just delete the spaces as you go up it should go away. Hope that makes sense.
