I felt compelled to share it with those of you kind visitors to my blog. Maybe you've already seen it. Apparently it is computer synchronized and the music is broadcast over the radio. To quote one commenter on YouTube, "it's epic!"

Grace,
I'm with you on the 23rd! This is cute.
Grand it is Grace. Thanks for sharing. I feel as you and too wait till 23rd and 24th to bring in the spirit of the forest. I try to ignore all the commercialism that begins these days before Thanksgiving. As this video shows some folks sure go all out! It must be magical for all the children in that area. Carol
We have a house in our neighborhood that has done that, too! You just tune in your radio and watch the lights!
Amazing..we just struggle to put some kind of half way decent lights on our porch!
WOW! Thanks for sharing, must be some kind of genius at work!
Now you have to LOVE THAT !!
No one in my neighborhood would go that far .. which is too bad because I would be stuck in the ground watching it all the time ? LOL
Isn't that a wonderful show.
I agree that all of the holidays are so commercialized anymore that their true meanings seem totally lost.
I love it! I'm one of those that goes a little crazy over Christmas, I think it's my way of feeling like a kid again.
Our house lights sound similar to Darla's, a few where I can reach with a step ladder.
It's FANTASTIC Grace! and inconceivable how on earth everything is so perfectly coordinated. (This from someone who has a difficult time stringing lights around a small trees) Played in full screen mode, it even drew my daughter over to the computer!
I also hate all of the commercialism - Halloween is barely off the shelves and they are putting up Christmas. It makes me very angry.
But I do love Christmas!!! I just ignore the stores as long as I can.
That is insane. And I mean that in a good way, and not at the same time. Can you imagine being their freaking neighbors? I would have to move out. I imagine pros were hired, I can't imagine joe/josette homeowner putting that together but maybe I am wrong there. Nuts! Ding, dong, ding dong! (PS I await your Jazz apple review with bated breath, ha!)
Thanks Grace. I agree, the stores do begin way too soon, but they must get more sales that way or wouldn't be doing it. I feel sorry for the employees that have to listen to Christmas carols for such a long period. Certainly takes away from the spirit. I am astonished at the way they can synchronize those lights. There is a display in Knoxville, not in a residential area, that charges $10 a car, it goes to charity, to go through several roads with lights that go to music on the radio. Grandkids love it, but you can see those lights in the sky for many miles.
That is a person with a lot of money and ambition! It's fun and beautiful, but I'm glad they aren't my neighbor! I like my quiet, dark street.
Beautiful. I'm glad there are people who are hard-working enough to create such beautiful displays. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Wow! If that doesn't put people in the Christmas spirit, I don't know what will ;0)
That's almost crazy, don't you think? (as contrasted to the single string of lights that have not yet been connected to a power source at our house!) ha. :-)
Thanks for drawing this to our attention Grace. Would certainly not like to be living anywhere in the vicinity. I don't think it would be the season of goodwill if I did :)
A family down the street has one of these displays. It can be quite a distraction when driving by, but it's pretty cool when we can stop and watch with the music on. My little one loves it.
During this season, I like to go round the neighbourhood to admire all the twinkling lights and beautiful displays. However, I too wouldn't want to be the neighbour here. Getting a good night's rest will definitely be a problem.
